Here a little of what went into the new Hornblower that was just released as well as an explanation of why it is Part 1 but starts partway through the book and what parts were adapted versis written cold.
It also includes some bloopers from David Ault and David Drage (Hornblower and Secretary Marsden).
The first of a two-parter Horatio Hornblower at Imagination Lane is now released. For those of you with the book it starts in Chapter 7 partway through after Hornblower is writing the letter. I skipped the boarding house scene as frankly just listening to someone washing up and getting dressed isn’t really that interesting in audio format I also combined the characters of the Flags, Dorsey and Barrow because I don’t have enough voice actors to have fifty million male characters and it just confuses people anyway to have five people in a conversation where three would do just as well. Other than that it mostly follows word for word from the book.
